A question on FIRING
after an extensive but negative search within the forum posts, I come up with a question regarding the number of figures in a battalion actually eligible to fire. Since I deploy them in the standard 1808 French Reform order, as per the below scheme: VVV 111 222 333 444 GGG VVV 111 222 333 444 GGG Do I have to assume that only 33 figures are actually eligible to fire, since Voltigeur are usually based on 2 single ranks bases ? Also, since I should eventually field 1 (and sometimes even 2) Velites regiments from my Guard Units, composed by entirely by Voltigeur VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV VVV do I have to assume that only 18 figures are eligible to fire ?

Both ranks fire in close order. Single rank in skirmish...so 36 and 36.
