ACW Ambulance - work in progress
Received this Perry's ACW Ambulance for my birthday. It is a lovely vignette and will do for a General's HQ possibly. I still have a lot of work to do on the ambulance cart and base. The base is 80mm x 100mm and I used 2mm plasticard.

It's Finished
I have now finished the Ambulance. I spent most of Saturday working on the model and finished the base and the driver off today. Thanks for looking. If you have any comments, please post them. I am always looking for constructive advice. Cheers, Richard

Very nice little vignette! I particularly loved the blue and white checked shirt. The placement of the figures is spot-on as it tells a poignant tale. If i had done this myself i'd have added a bit of mud here and there to the basework with a few larger stones for extra interest and would have rolled the wheels over the grass to suggest the weight of the cart leaving a muddy trail/ trampled grass. That way the basework would have been more consistent with your painting style in which you effectively add washes to create your shadows which also serves to add a certain wear and tear effect to your uniforms.
