Adler French regiment
Another regiment completed. Anyone else using 6mm? Blog: http://www.miniatureofmind.blogspot.com/

15mm is as small as I like to go and still see the detail, but your mini's up close are very nicely painted in a clean and crisp style.Well done. :)

They`re funny wee things, but i like them ,alot of detail there. Very well painted indeed. Regards,

Really like these little guys but couldn't imagine painting them. 15mm probably is my limit. Excellent painting and great photo's too. Regards Paul P Scotland Website: http://naps15mmfigurepainting.fpic.co.uk/

It would be fantastic work at 15mm but at 6mm  Absolutely incredible (understatement of the decade!). Happy Painting, Allan

Beautiful painting! I also use Adler, in my case for the 1809 Danube campaign, but I cannot paint to your standard.

Porthius- 05-14-2009

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm doing about 200+ Austrians next which will be a bit of a marathon :( . colinjallen, these guys are also for the Danube campaign, seems like a popular campaign for 6mm!

colinjallen- 05-14-2009

I am doing this campaign in 6mm because so many of the units (Austrian Infantry and cavalry, and French Cuirassiers) just take up too much space in 15mm! The current plan involves the French force that fought on the first day at Aspern-Essling and, eventually, all of their Austrian opponents.

I have to ask, was any vision magnification used, or are your hands really that steady and your eyes really that good? Incredible paint job.

Porthius- 05-16-2009

No magnification used, just good old hand-eye co-ordination (I'll probably be blind in 5 years  ).

MPHILLIPS- 05-18-2009

I do 10mm myself, but I do like any other 'smaller scale'....and you've done a fantastic paint job on these, they are really good. Look forward to seeing more of them. :)

I have to say, those are some of the best painted 6mm I have seen. Remarkable.
