Allied reduced strength btns
Can anyone advise me on how they have based their British (Adams,Maitland's and Halkett's) and Allied (Brunswick,Nassau and Chasse's) Brigades for the scenario Last Attack of the Imperial Guard at Waterloo,as I'm tearing my hair out (whats left of it) trying to figure out how to base these reduced strength battalions. It seems imposible now for example to get the normal 2 companies to a base for the British Foot Guards (if assuming it had an original strength of 40 figs in 10 companies with 4 figs to a company using the 5X8 figure basing system) as with the reduced strength of 32 I end up with 4X8 figure bases in effect meaning 2 bases containing 3 companies each ! Help please !

How about a total of 6 bases. 4 with 6 figures each and two with three figures each representing the two flank companies. Columns will work OK as will line formation. 000 000 000 000 XXX 000 000 000 000 XXX That's the line. XXX XXX 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 That's the column. Cheers Schultz
