Another question please
Hi Again Last one please, Honest,, It states that a unit cannot rally if an enemy unit is within charge reach. Does this mean that the unit is able to contact it or within the charge distance. Ie A Routing unit is 6" from a unit in line. There is a wall 3" between them. The Routing unit is within charge reach, (a line charge been 7") but the wall would reduce the 7" charge by 3". The line unit could not therefore charge the routing unit as it does not have the movement. But the routing unit is within the 7" charge range. Do you take terrain features into account, or just measure the distance.. Cheers Kev

I've only seen it played as "measure the distance", as this constraint is about the rallying unit's proximity to threats preventing a Rally attempt.

Thanks again Bryce Thats what I thought, it's a proximity thing. They are close and the unit attempting to rally would not see the wall or any other terrain feature, they would only see an enemy very close to them. Makes perfect sense. Thanks again Bryce

K + G, Well...., Actually being physically able to reach the unit is important. E.G. If a unit was protected by impassable terrain it may rally as potential units, although in "range", are not within charge reach. DB

Thankyou DB for clearing that one up for us.. I thought that LOS would come into the situation as well as impassable features. EG the other side of and unfordable river, or the opposite side of a wooded area. I think we will use the proximity method, but take into account LOS and impassable features.. Cheers Kev
