Casualty Dialers/markers for GdB
I hate bits of card and record keeping, so I came up with these and they are so much easier than messing around scrubbing in boxes for a no 2 chit.
Also gets rid of the need to tally casualties on a sheet, and they look so much better on the table.
Please check these out on our website in the galleries section.

That looks very effective Kev and something I'd be keen to copy for 15mm
what are the swivel things/ pins and what sort of size/depth are they
Pics on the site look very good by the way - well done
Nice website and idea Kev,
If I hadn't already done my markers I might well have given your idea a shot. I prefer the casualty markers too as it makes the battlefield look nicer.
Have added a link to your site on my own website. Not your cup of tea as they are 15mm but still naps.

I have a load of Elite Prussians in 28mm that I'm working through (very slowly)
Keep up the great work, look forward to your updates!

Thanks guys.
Nice site Paul, excellent painting at 15mm, Bloody hell, wish my eyes were that good again.
The Dialers are very easy to make.
I made 1 (2 parts) and kept them as a template for all the following.
I did originally make round ones but the square edge looks better and you can put the edge upto the parent unit .
That makes them blend in very well on the table.
I will put together a making section and put it on our site, with some pics.
I have had a few ask me how I make them and that seems the logical thing to do.
Thanks for the comments on the site everyone, I have just started to play with it again now I have more free time..
Great think, giving up Work to work from home, Highly recommended if you can..
Cheers

The width and depth is 35mm and the disc is 33mm across (radius) i think it was called at school.
The push pins are from Staples in uk.
They are a Flat head push pin that come with a plastic cover (various colours) loosly fitted over the thumb part.
I take the plastic off, these are better than normal push pins, as they tend to be slightly domed and dont allow the marker to sit on the table properly , these are flat..
If I get chance tomorrow I will put the making steps on our site.
I made 6 last nite and are just about to finish painting the casualty figures.
Cheers
