SRM, 1. how many charges can an infantry or cavalry unit make if not contacting evaders? The charging unit can carry on with its charge up to the full extent of its charge move permitted in the turn, (so if you have 15mm troops and they are charging in line that will be a maximum charge move of 18cms). Thus it is possible to repeat the charge procedure for any number of units within charge reach if each breaks and runs in turn! 2. can artilery that is deployed evade by limbering up and moving. Yes, if it has sufficient time to limber up (1/2 turn) and then evade out of the way. If it has insufficient time to limber the crews may abandon the guns & evade 3. and is there a limit to the number of evades a unit can make. A unit may only evade up to the full move distance permitted in the turn, so if a battery that has had to limber up and evade, then it may only evade half the permitted distance. (They may also continue to evade in subsequent turns if charged again.) DB
