I'm not sure if your aware,but the Foundry AWI range are Perry sculpts as well when they worked for them. Anyways,although the Foundry miniatures are a bit smaller then the Perry's personal miniatures they still mix in well together. If you look at my Militia in my blog you can see for yourself how they mix together and you can judge for yourself if it works.I think so. :) Cheers Christopher

As I have about 700 Foundry and Perry AWI minitures, I´m awre very well :D :D :D I think, that there´s diference mainly because Perry miniatures are more humanoid then old Foundry. They have smaller hands, foots and hands. But I mix them and it looks really good. The problem is, that Perry sculpts of Continentals and militia are only in two poses... Marching and shooting. I bought some blisters of Foundry standing easy, in atentition and charging. So these three units will be only from Foundry miniatures.. so all of them will have uniforms :?

Ahh,I understand your situation a bit better now.Yes,other then marching and shooting Perry is limited at the moment,but their hunting shirts and militia command packs with them standing will also work with at ease and the riflemen advancing can work with charging too.If your not just collecting Foundry and Perry then you can take a look at Old Glory and Front Rank to add variety into the units you mentioned. At the moment I'm staying with Foundry and Perry,but you might want to expand. What country are you from?The reason I ask is I'm an American,but I live in Germany.Perhaps if your in the region we could get a game in. Good luck with your army. Cheers Christopher

I live in Hollfeld which is near Bayreuth located in Bavaria. In February their is a very large wargaming event in Germany located in Hamberg.The event is called TACTICA and myself and a couple others will be doing a demo of Bunker Hill that allows for participation.Perhaps we could meet there for a game and/or schedule further games. If you want we could try for an earlier game,but my collection isn't very large yet so you would need to provide quite a few miniatures,however I could easily supply the table and terrain. :D

Which Hamberg do you mean? I was looking on the map and there´s quit a lot of them in Germany :D The event in February souds good. Maybe I can ask other guys in our club. The problem is, that Czechs mostly plays warhammer/40K and there´s only about ten active gamers, who are interested in history and half of them is playing only FoW.. So now I´m only one, who has AWI miniatures and I need to pait both armies :? Now I have about 100 painted miniatures and it´s slow process... But maybe I can support some miniatures for this event game...
