Deployed skirmisher bases and new scenery rangeGuys,
Excuse the plug (I have checked with the rules author and he is fine with it) but I am developing a range of bases and accessories for GdB to go with my growing scenery range and accessories under my MG Wargames Scenery range.
First up is 15mm scale sized skirmisher sabot bases. These are used when you deploy a light company from a battalion into skirmish order if you don't want/haven't got 'double' figures based up in skirmish order. They come with either steel paper or magna-base inserts so that if your figures are appropriately supplied with the opposite material under their base they will 'stick' to it so that when you pick-up the figures to move the base comes too.
They have been developed in consultation with the rules author and he now uses them in his own games. Thanks Dave!
My website page here has some photos

They are available through my eBay shop here
http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/MG-Wargames-Scenery__W0QQ_armrsZ1
They are available fully finished and painted in packs of three for the equivalent of 90p/£1/£1.10 a base depending on size (for 4 figures, 6 figures or 8 figures). As a bonus for members of this site if you mention when buying that you saw this post on this blog I'll chuck an extra free base in with every three purchased.
I'm UK based but postage overseas is not a problem.
The webpage lists the next bases I have in mind to bring out for GdB but if anyone has any ideas for anything else scenery/accessory wise for GdB which would help play/speed up movement/improve the look of the table then please feel free to mention it and I'll see what I can do.
If you take a look around my other webpages
http://www.mg-wargames-scenery.co.uk/index.htm
you'll see a growing range of scenery pieces from rivers, woods, farms, etc. A lot of the pictures on the site are for 6mm scale, purely because that is what some previous customers have ordered, but I have made equivalents for 15mm, 20mm and 28mm as well.
If you have any questions, ideas or would like to ask about a particular piece of scenery please feel free to post here or email me direct at

Thanks, Martin
