Enemy General's
Anyone play Die Kriegskunst in Oregon? I am putting together Austrian and Prussian forces in 15 mm. Everyone I know is into that fantasy nonsense, converting these folks can prove more difficult than sitting through a game of Warhammer. Three cheers to the authors Angus and Dougie for an excellent set of rules. JD Lancaster jllancaster@cocc.edu

JD, Thanks for the three cheers! Judging my your "handle", I presume a Prussian army won't be your first choice... Best Wishes, Angus Konstam www.edinburghwargames.com www.anguskonstam.com

No problem, I am an avid admirer of your work, and have had far more than just a few moments of enjoyment from your writing. I find myself obsessing about the intricacies of both the Prussians and Austrians with equal fervor these days. Really, at heart I am a Prussophile, but I have a friend here that has agreed to try out Die Kriegskunst with me and I told myself that if I could ever miraculously find a willing opponent, I would certainly let them be the Prussians. So after a brief history lesson he jumped on that opportunity, and I chose the side of "truth and justice" the Austrians! However, he is a more busy person than me , so I just went ahead and whistled up a Prussian force of my own,... just incase his never make it to the field. I just read your report on the Blow the Bridge game on your sight edinburghwargames.com. That seems like it could be a lot of fun, do you know of any 15 mm manufacturers that do engineers working like your Russians. Oh, it just occured to me that those could be artillery crews? So what do you think of this whole battalion gun discussion? JD Lancaster jllancaster@cocc.edu
