Figure basing
Hiya people. Just looking for some ideas from you lot. At the moment all my Russians and 8th Army are based for Rapid Fire (which is relogated to the I cant be bothered anymore drawer) Now I realise they all need rebasing and I would like to use flames of war boo hiss, bases ie easy to buy in my local shop, and of course if I decide to sell them, more chances of a good price. Has anyone battled with FOW basing and come across any problems, if so what were they. Cheers for reading this.

K, Obviously I've not personally played with FoW bases!! :shock: :wink: However as long as you can distinguish between command, rifles, MG's etc., it really shouldn't make that much difference, other than the fact you can never get FoW bases into any kind of 15mm terrain! You may end up with slightly less targets within the artillery templates but that really about it. DB

Thanks for that DB. Think we will go with the 2p having seen some pictures on this sight they look pretty good. I did suggest 1/2crowns to my opponent, but he was reluctent, cant think why. PS had my first game with them last night, first shot took out my hidden pak40, but got revenge later. Liked the feel of the game, Cheers

I got a load of round card bases, 3cm diameter, from a printing company which are great for 20mm.
