Hown many times can a unit fire?
1) A unit fires supporting fire at a enemy unit charging against a unit next to it. That charged unit fails it's Charged morale check and runs. The charger redirects its charge toward the unit that fired. Can the unit fire as a rection again now that it is the target of the charge? I ruled "no" in our game. 2) A charged unit fires at a charger and the charger falters. An enemy unit charges the unit next to the firer, the charged unit routs, and the enemy unit charges the firer instead. Can the firer fire again into the second charger? I allowed him to fire with those stands that had fire arc. Is this correct? Can units fire twice in a turn under some circunstances or is this not allowed?

Correct - a unit may only ever fire once per turn - so it fires either in the charge phase or the fire phase. A charged unit fires at a charger and the charger falters. An enemy unit charges the unit next to the firer, the charged unit routs, and the enemy unit charges the firer instead. Can the firer fire again into the second charger?
