LINE OF FIRE
Hi I may have missed them but are there any specific rules about whether line of fire is blocked by friendly or enemy units? Also is an AFV line of fire blocked by an infantry unit or can it fire over them? Thanks in advance. Also is there anywhere where I can obtain a QRF for the rules, as I dont want to cut up my copy of the rules. Thanks David

D, Infantry may not fire through other friendly infantry. Also is an AFV line of fire blocked by an infantry unit or can it fire over them? See 9.11 - p48 - AFV's may fire over infantry. Email me direct for a QRS. dcrbrown@aol.com. DB

DB Thanks for your prompt reply. I have enjoyed using your rules for both my 10mm and 20mm games and am thinking about my 6mm forces too. I'll be dropping you an email for a QRS. All the best D

Dave Adding to the line of fire question. Can units (AT guns for example) fire though small gaps, or does there need to be a gap of at least the base width? Steve

Nothing in the rules to say not is there? There might be a problem justifying it, perhaps, if the enemy is moving very briefly across the line of sight?

For defensive fire, you'd have to watch out that they didn't count as 'moving between cover' - but I can't see why not for offensive fire.
