Newbie Questions
Hi all I thought I might dust off my old WWII figures , I have two FOW armies that haven't been used for a while. Will my FOW basing be OK for BGPzG ? Will the rules be hard to pick up , I do play Guns at Gettysburg and GdB , so I'm assuming the turn sequence is similar ? Does the rule book come with the stats for everything ? I have Russians and Germans , early / mid war stuff . thanks

K, I'm not familair with FoW basing - but basing is not particularly important with Battlegroup Panzergrenadier rules - as long as you can identify command, MG and rifle units that should be fine. It does not use the same sequence as GdeB - it is different, but nonetheless easy to utilise. Stats are included for all major armies, except the Japanese - who are included in the 2nd Edition. DB

I went with roughly 3 infantrymen to 1x1 inch squares, company command units on 2x2, small AT guns on 2x2, Large AT guns and artillery on 2x3. Batallion and other commands on 3x3. FoW is largely similar in terms of basing (I've thrown away enough FoW bases to have a fair idea :) ) - though their infantry stands are a bit larger than 1x1, and their 'large bases' for artillery etc. are, IIRC a bit smaller than 2x3.

FOW bases have 4 or 5 figures to a base , so in Battlegroup Panzergrenadir , a base is equal to a squad ? So this basing as below would be OK ? These aren't mine , but my basing is the same. Also 1 tank model = how many ?
