a couple of pictures
I am new at trying to post pictures on the site. This is my first attempt. If it's successful, I'll attempt an account of a recent game. This is a shot of the British stopping a French assault. The picture below is of the Brunswick corp stopping another French assault. >

Nice looking game. Look forward to seeing more of it.

W, keep them coming! john

Always nice to see Brunswickers getting a run out!

Eugene1809- 01-24-2009

Very good - particularly like the unit name plates at the back. More pictures please as they look like some very nicely put together games and units. Carlo

What make are the advancing Brunswickers in the foreground of the second picture?

Winser1954- 01-24-2009

Thanks for the responses! All of the figures are 15mm Old Glory Napoleonics.

colinjallen- 01-26-2009

Another question: Do the Old Glory Hanoverian infantry figures contain any infantry in caps or are they all in shakos? Colin

Really nice pictures, I'll look forward to you posting some more. Also liked your casualty markers.

Chris Arundel- 01-26-2009

And regarding the casualty markers, how are they fixed together? I'd quite like to make a few of those.

casualty markers
I found some inexpensive washers at the hardware store. The hole in the middle is almost exactly the same size as what my paper hole-puncher punches out. I used the light cardboard from the back of a writing pad and punched out a lot of little circles. I used two or three of these glued together to serve as a kind of axle that passed through the washer to the casualty marker on top and another cardboard circle about the same size on the bottom. The fit is snug enough that the marker on top doesn't slip out of place too easily when handled. I made a lot of them at the same time, so it wasn't too bad.

Thanks Winser, I'm going to have a go at making something similar, they're pretty cool.

Great idea on the casualty markers.

Chris Arundel- 03-21-2009

Well it took me a while to get around to it, but here are my first two casualty markers, the unfortunate victims are by Front Rank.

Lovely pics. I love the markers. Ceara
