Chassepot v needle
In the oob for Wissembourg it mentions different rifles for the 2 sides (without stating what they are ie breech-loading). In the army notes it says that the chassepot had a longer range than the needle. But I cannot find anything in the firing rules to cover this. Are they treated the same or have I missed something ? For the Chassepot, check p.87 Wissembourg scenario. Chassepots are superior breech loaders and get a +1 casualties when firing-not overly generous but perhaps enough to slow the Prussians down! Don't worry-I missed this first time round as well! Matt
