BG Firing Procedure
Forgive me if this has been asked and answered, but I'm reading/re-reading the rules in preparation for an actual game (hopefully!) later this spring.
According to the firing table itself, losses are "in figures." But the example of the militia firing on the 47th Foot seems to be noting an effect in DPs rather than figures lost.
Or am I missing something? :(
Wouldn't be the first time I was missing the obvious, but any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Tim W.
Hi Tim,
The first three casualties inflicted on a unit are taken as Disruption Points(DP).
Once you hit 3 DP, and these can be from movement, terrain or morale as well, then any further combat casualties are actual figures lost.
Hope this helps
Paul
Paul--
Yes, it does greatly! I suspected this to be the case but was not sure.
Thanks again!
