The British... as requested...Hello,
As requested Giles! :D Pleased to oblige... and the sun is out again today too so no problems photograhing them:
The British are where I started painting for BG! and the regiments were selected more or less at random, so they need some reorganising but,
here we go:

And

Closer;

The 64th ; 24charging, 24firing, 18 doubling, 18marching, 18at-attention, 18skirmish, 8ammunition carriers, 2x4figure colours/command and 4 officers...
140 figs

CinC and staff 8figs (the drummer is 2nd Foot Guards), Division General/staff 2figs, Canadians 7figs (4xfiring and 3xskirmish – by far
my smallest unit of foot, but they tag onto others where appropriate rather than stand on their own... could do with a few more though...).

Loyalists (Pfister/Peter/Jessop etc, includes a sprinkling of freed slave volunteers) 2x18+2officers

Grenadiers (37th) 32firing, 16marching, 16 advancing and officer – 65figs.
Light Infantry (15th) 32 firing, 32skirmish and officer – 65figs

54th 24firing, 18at-attention, 18skirmish, 4colours/command, 3 officers – 67figs
57th 24charging, 18doubling, 4colours/command, 3officers – 49figs

16th LD 8figs. 17th LD 16figs (this was the set of figures that reminded me how much I used to enjoy gaming the AWI and set me off looking
for some decent rules... )

Division General/Staff (Phillips) 2figs - possibly not the best place to stand...
Artillery 24figs only – so here is the howitzer battery and I’ve spread them out at 3per gun... the rest are in the backgound of other pix.
Indians... I’ve only painted 13 so far; (and they’re all in the first ‘Bennington Pictures’ post).
Total 480figs
But... time for some nostalgia:

Yes! the Airfix British Grenadiers; with their weird Samurai-type colours and unsupported cartridge boxes in the small of their back etc, etc, etc...
18advancing, 18marching,

and - here’s a square for a change - 74firing.

110figs - all painted as Coldstreamers.
Grand Total 590figs... so far... I’d almost finished the 23rd when I realised I was within touching distance of finishing ‘Burgoyne’s Germans’ so I have been distracted from them for a while, and the windows of the Benjamin Chew house need finishing too, could do with some more trees, I could add to the three completed French regiments, and although I’ve got A LOT of militia I really just don’t have enough Continentals... hmm... I may be distracted by a few things but will aim for finishing the 23rd in time for George III’s birthday!
Will you be parading your British on June 4th?
