That right thumb of his looks to have been amputated and stuck back on - am i right Craig? If not then methinks he bit his thumbnail into the wick whilst contemplating the British troops up ahead. He's also looking a bit zorroish/racoonish with the black mask around the eyes :roll: . I'd play down the dark shadows on his face and i feel sure that even the Frenchman himself will mumble out a merci beaucoup! :lol:
Given that the little chap is only 28mm high, that is stunning painting!

I have seen pictures of some of your 15mm figures; they are astounding. Even when I was painting regularly, I could never have hoped to achieve that sort of quality.

Some of your photo's are very big which could be very unkind in showing up any mistakes, but these are wart free. Superb painting and very nice figures.
