Dumb rule question
Do skirmishers take DPs from fire or just remove the figures..thanks

hi Skirmishers can only take 1 DP from movement. They take DP's from fire in the normal way but for each DP, they lose 1 firing die. page 49 item 5

Not a dumb question at all. Skirmishers lose one die per 2/3 figures for each DP accrued. The magic number of 3DP just means any further combat inflicted DP become actual casualties. regards Paul

Thanks...the lightbulb finally goes on...got it!!!!..now it makes sense..for each DP under three the shirmishers lose a firing dice per 2/3 figs but no casualties are removed until DP#4.
