2/dose a supporting line need to be directly behind front unit and parrallel
3/to get +1 from supporting lines do you have to be in brigade colume

One 2D6 roll for the entire unit but then each flank works out its factors separately and fires with the amount of troops facing in that direction.

Basically yes, not necessarily exactly parallel and behind but generally conforming to this.
to get +1 from supporting lines do you have to be in brigade column
