Russian Cavalry
According to the literature that I have, Russian dragoons were issued muskets, not carbines. Should I therefore use the musketry table instead of the carbine table if they fire?
Thanks
TM,
Nice try!
Many dragoons had muskets, or a variant of a musket, so technically should use musket ranges.
However, the idea of trying to fire a musket from horseback, and reloading over several volleys, could be considered interesting  :?
So to reflect this I would state that all cavalry use the carbine ranges regardless of their actual weaponry.

On the subject of Russian cavalry, I have added Russian mounted Chasseurs/Jaegers to Eureka's 300 club list; they are essential for 1813-14.
