Sorry couple more questions guys.
Need some help with the brigade tests please. Is a Brigade test required every time a unit goes to Rout or dispersed ? Or only if there is a unit from the same Brigade within 12".(who see's it happen) Or all units are in retreat or rout, (same brigade) Do all other units wthin 12" of a routing or dispered unit have to test Morale. Do they just have to be from the same brigade, or from the same troop type (Infantry/Cavalry). Sorry guys but read the rules so many times I just wondered if we are missing something. Cheers again Kev

It's actually simpler if you approach it sequentially and aren't looking for 'wriggle room'. In the Morale Phase: 1) Do Unit morale checks first--these are all considered simultaneous, so there are no interactive effects with other unit checks; nor do units care about unit 'type' (cav/infantry) or higher organisation--they simply check if 'friends' are routing within 15cm/12". Only after all unit checks have been made, do you proceed to determine if you need the Brigade level test. 2) Brigade Morale Check: Did your Brigade general or C-in-C die, get captured or flee the field? Did any unit disperse after Melee or (unit) Morale checks, or is now in Rout within 15cm/12" proximity to other brigade units? If yes to any of these, then do the Brigade Morale Test. Unit 'type' (cav/infantry) is immaterial, it's the higher brigade organisation that matters.
