Swiss - uniforms etc
http://www.napolun.com/mirror/web2.airmail.net/napoleon/infantry_Napoleon_3.htm#swiss I have been looking for info on the Swiss in 1812 , what battles they fought in etc. Above is a link to a good place to start. So basically they wore red with blue collars and cuffs ? I have got a bag from old glory and it has a real mixture in it , some bearskins for the grenadier company I assume ? Anyone got some more info ? Flags , I know they carried eagles as they lost some in Spain ? I'm about to start painting some French and allies to face off against my Russians. So doing a little bit research before I start.

The 1st to 4th swiss Regt each had a different facing colour. AFAIK they followed standard French organisation. Histofig should have all the info you need. http://empire.histofig.com/-Corps-d-origine-suisse-.html
