Valleyboy's descent into the abyss
Help I can't stop it - I have a terrible urge to move away from 15mm Napoleonics and start collecting 28mm figs. Look Nic at Eureka made me buy these, somehow my wallet just jumped out of my pocket. Not only that I painted them a few weeks back and now I want more - does anyone have any pills that will put a stop to it :oops: and a few close ups

WOOOOOW! Absolutely splendid piece of work valleyboy. You've made the jump from 15mm to 28s very nicely indeed. Spiffing figures spiffingly painted, based and photographed. PS/ Am most impressed with your productivity as well. Sounds like you knocked 'em out in no time! Would love to see more. Methinks Nic is gonna get rich. I'd say the best remedy to cure your painting is to find a very nice young lady who loves the outdoor life and bob's yer uncle - no time for painting minis ie when your indoors, which won't be often, you'll have other things on your mind! :wink: PS/ have you noticed how Giles has disappeared of late!!! :D :D :D The proof is in the pudding - he tied the knot!

VB, those who collect Naps in both 25mm and 15mm are a select bunch of nutters, and you are a worthy addition to the group :) Lovely painting on some pretty impressive sculpts. Oh, and when you next see Nic could you please tell him to hurry up with the AWI South Carolina infantry...

The grim reaper is the only cure I,m afraid For my sins I too have 28mm and 15mm collections. The only consolation I can offer is that after painting a few 28mm figures you will think you are on speed when next you paint 15mm figures.

Thank you gents you are very kind with your encouragment talking of scales now Mr Chook is a bit of a problem in that he's my regular opponent mate and our games are conducted in a very congenial manner The only problem is that of late he seems to be hankering for 6mm figs and has bought a few He's likely to lead me down that slippery slope sometime so I'll have 28, 15s and 6s Having said that at this moment in time the Eureka figs above constitute my collection of 28s along with a 1/2 painted 20 figs of so.
