Wagram game
Many thanks to Andy and Doug for organising the weekend's Wagram game. A great time was had by all in the Grenadier Guards officers' mess - even down to the mess staff producing bacon butties on Sunday morning ! I very much enjoyed the action on the Austrian left, though the real slugfest was on the other side of the field, around Aderklaa. Dr Brown and I used to mutter that we were the only ones who would put on such an event, but I'm delighted to have been proven wrong. Well done chaps ! EC

I'd definately like to second EC's thanks to David and the LSF guys for such a super game in a super venue. David told me it took ages to lay out the figures the night before and anyone who saw the table wouldn't doubt it for a moment. As a Saturday afternoon observer I'm looking forward to hearing a blow by blow account of the battle as a whole from the commanders - judging by the conversations on Saturday I'm expecting two widely divergant views of the battle! It was a superb effort by all concerned - thank you very much.

these pictures confirm my (and my wargame club too) decision to skip from Shako to GdB. I really look forward to finally set up (and post, obviously) the pictures from our first, standard game !
