Many thanks to Andy and Doug for organising the weekend's Wagram game. A great time was had by all in the Grenadier Guards officers' mess - even down to the mess staff producing bacon butties on Sunday morning !
I very much enjoyed the action on the Austrian left, though the real slugfest was on the other side of the field, around Aderklaa.
Dr Brown and I used to mutter that we were the only ones who would put on such an event, but I'm delighted to have been proven wrong. Well done chaps !

I'd definately like to second EC's thanks to David and the LSF guys for such a super game in a super venue. David told me it took ages to lay out the figures the night before and anyone who saw the table wouldn't doubt it for a moment. As a Saturday afternoon observer I'm looking forward to hearing a blow by blow account of the battle as a whole from the commanders - judging by the conversations on Saturday I'm expecting two widely divergant views of the battle!

It was a superb effort by all concerned - thank you very much.

Can I also pass on my thanks to Andy and Doug for a truly memorable game.I take my hat off to you as I know it takes some organisation to get this sort of thing off the ground. Being their and taking part was awesome and I only reget I could only play on Saturday. To anyone who is thinking of attending one of these big game weekends I can highly recommend the experience.Great bunch of chaps all playing in the right spirit made it very special.

these pictures confirm my (and my wargame club too) decision to skip from Shako to GdB. I really look forward to finally set up (and post, obviously) the pictures from our first, standard game !
