Anyone played any of the scenarios from the Heartland book?
Thinking of starting with the Assualt on Fort Donelson ?
I have a huge Union army , just getting together enough Rebs to be able to put on a few games, and try to convert some of our old fire and fury players. |

I haven't played any of the scenarios yet, but I flick through this book pretty much every night and I can't wait to get enough troops ready to have a bash at a couple. The one where Grant attacks a camp and then has to extricate himself looks particularly interesting (can't recall the name !). The terrain maps are also very clear; an excuse to use all my Touching History cornfields is another reason why the ACW is becoming increasingly hard to resist! |

Yep agreed , the book is well layed out , and the scenarios look good.
I'll let you know how I go. |
