Really enjoyed the rules so far (two games) but have a couple of questions:
1. I know that a friendly unit can fire at an enemy unit charging them during the charge phase. However, if an enemy unit passes in front of, but does not charge, a friendly unit (during the normal moves phase), can that friendly unit fire at them as they pass across their front? If the friendly unit has to wait until the firing phase the enemy unit may have moved out of range or firing arc.
2. Can a unit sidestep or perform an oblique movement (advance on a 45% angle)?
Thanks for your help. Brad. |

A - It will have to wait until the fire phase.

A - Units may not sidestep (other then the usual wargamers "I'll just squidge them up to the left a bit".. ..) but they may certainly wheel and advance obliquely.
