apart from foundry is there anybody out there who makes a decent 25mm figure for this war. Any suggestions as looking at expanding out what I do have ( the old foundry 25mm which are out of production) rather than the new 28mm old west range.

Hi,
For the smaller Foundry figures, Battle Honors 25mm 1859 figures (available again from Old Glory 15s in the US) include French infantry & artillery. Also Austrian Jagers which can be converted.

Mexican Peons are made by Dixon and I think bandits as well. Also try Old Glory.

All the other Old West ranges I know of are big 28mm figures. The Foundry figures appear quite regularly on eBay mislabelled as Foundry Old West.

Regards

Matt
