Hi,
one Question.
When a ambushed Camo. Unit opens fire on an enemy it still remains hidden. Do I have to measure the range to the Target? If I do my opponent will get an Idea where this Unit is hidden, or?
Maybe I missed this when I read the rules.
Regards,

If you're putting down ambush units, there's alot to be said for pre-measuring your range bands and remembering where they tend to fall.
Then holding fire until your opponent happens to be past a terrain feature which you know is roughly x inches away. And don't throw away ambush shots against units which are at extreme range!
I'm a big fan of firing off weapons at guesstimated ranges. Have played in the past against folks who really 'play the ranges' by sitting just out of 36 inches waiting for defensive fire opportunities against advancing units, etc.
That all gets a bit boring. Your troops wouldn't necessarily have accurate range finding equipment, so on occasion you just need to pour it on and hope that you reach the target, or wait until you know that the target is well within range. |
