Been working on these guys a for about a month, took a break then came back and finished the battalions, now working on the skirmishers.
Main approach to this that there is allot of variance in the great coat colors suggesting they have picked up discarded cloths and so on.

Nice work BB, I'm working on a similar project to expand my French infantry to a suitable size for getting beaten at Corunna in Jan 2009 ish. I've used two shades of brown, a mid grey ,and a few of the dust coats in off white that my grenadiers were done in for Vimerio. The grenadier companies had a few figures in normal uniform, so I'm hoping to "blend" them in to full campaign uniform battalions now
Thanks for the inspiration, I'm stuck at the crossbelt stage, but at least there are only a few cuff flaps to do ! _________________ Simon W |

Lovely bright figures, BBC, well done! Some might feel the green is a bit risqué, but in the mix of other great coat colours it looks good. Nice brushwork. _________________ Bryce Allen |

Very nice work. I did originally think that the green was a bit "Adam Ant", but it's growing on me |

Have seen a print of a light infantry/voltigeur officer with gloves in a green like that for Talavera. He's on my list of things to do, about number 1000 ! 8) _________________ Simon W |
