Do you count skirmishes as firing in extended line? The whole issue of the skirmishes is causing some degree of angst. It seems to be the only elelment of the rules which causes any problems. Thanks |

Dear Mike28
Sorry for delay in replying - I've been absent from the site from some time as you will realise.
I suspect Skirmishers will need some 'tidying up' in due course. Re firing - see page 15 (final point) and top of page 53 - there are special rules for skirmishers when firing, which is unaffected by their actual order of deployment. This is based on the original GdeB rules.
I hope this helps.
Regards

Hi Dennis and Mike,
My mate Steve and I are playing through the rules at our club and having a great time.
Extended line has me slightly confused. -1 for being fired at and -1 for the unit actually firing. Howver teh unit is not classified as unformed. Is that correct?
Regards
