Hi,
I spent yesterday working on painting some scenery pieces (well wooden fencing) and was inspired to take a look at one or two of the scenery sites that I've bookmarked on the web. One of them had a link to a Japanese guy building water effects for a PT109 diorama (I didn't understand a word but just watching the guy work got me most of the idea) - anyway I was inspired to search for "wargames terrain" and a whole new world opened up.
An awful lot of it is Warhammer related but there was some really neat stuff - I particularly enjoyed Steve The Kamloopian - his videos are rambling monologues about modelmaking, the state of Kamloops public transport, and a lot of other stuff. Some brisk editing could cut a lot of his stuff right back but half the fun are the useful tips he throws out as he rambles his way towards a conclusion.

Being over 40, this wasn't something I'd even considered as a resource before so i thought I'd share. There's a bunch of model railway stuff that would be useful too.
