O,
Splendid use of the tree stumps for cover, particurly the prone fellow reloading and the chap resting the rifle on the tree. Nicely done and naturally posed!
In relation to Burnham Wood: They are in the tick of it in both senses, but can have a rest When The Hurlyburly's Done...
(They are Not Exactly 'born of woman' either!)
But; the English officers should be OK, it is The Scottish Ones who need to worry

Brilliant Absolutely spiffing idea for bases for these riflemen. Don't paint AWI (yet!) but am thinking of some napoleonic 95th foot for a variation on your idea.
Will post 'em when eventually i get them done!!!  |
