Just to say that Jeff at Outpost will be releasing the first figures in an exciting new line targeting the Russo Turkish wars 1877-1878. The first release will include Bulgarians (two packs), Turks (approx four to six packs) and Russians (two packs). He hopes to release these by the end of March 2009. These will then be followed by further 1-2 packs a month. It is planed that all the combatants will be covered and will possibly include Serbs for the earlier 1876 uprising.

| They surely look good in the photos. Never having had first-hand experience with any games in the GdeB family, I am prompted to ask whether any of them would be suitable for the Russo-Turkish War. |

| Although I know little for this particular conflict I would recommend the Gdb C19th rules for any conflict for this era. I use them for the period 1859-1871 mainly but future plans include the later Russo-Japanese War. |
