|

Those of you who attended the Long Island game in November -- and, I hope, many of you that didn't! -- will be pleased to know that Eclaireur has written the game up as a scenario piece with full orbats for BG! and an after-action report which will be published in the next issue of Battlegames that went to the printers this morning.
After endless hours staring at close-ups of the table, I managed to create a hex-by-hex map (TSS 300mm hexes were used for the game) that I think is fairly accurate, and the piece is accompanied by as many pretty photographs as I could reasonably fit in.
I thought you might like to see the front cover, which features one of the photos I took during the game. I want to point out that none of the photos are 'staged' (apart from one of BD, Ec, Giles, Brendan and Alan Perry, as you'll see), they were all genuine 'action' shots.
You'll also be pleased to know that once the magazine is on sale next week, I shall be uploading a monster gallery of photos taken of the game on the Battlegames website at http://www.battlegames.co.uk/dispatches/dispatches_historical.html, together with a much larger version of the map than I could fit in the mag.
All the Waterloo players will be pleased to know that it's your turn next issue, assuming that DB meets the deadline. _________________ Battlegames Magazine

My pleasure, Ec. It was quite an event and deserved the effort. _________________ Battlegames Magazine
