Gents
Can anyone give us the details of the scenarios included in this new book?
Also I see that Caliver are promoting a new scenario book series that is non-rule specific, starting with 1806. Does anyone have any inside info?

John
there are four French/Turkish scenarios: the Pyramids; Alexandria; el Rahmanieh and El Khanka.
There are four Russo/Turkish ones: Obilesti, Tatariz, Battin, and Ruschuk.
There are also extensive historical notes on Ottoman armies and GdB rule ammendments.

Now available according to TMP, so mine should be along anytime and some precious darling seems upset with the title as it is too Euro-centric |

I picked the ottoman book up at triples. It's very good if not a little expensive for 8 scenarios. I will be playing the alexandria scenario in 2 weeks, should be a fairly quick and fun game.
The rule additions for the turks are clear to understand and should add plenty of 'feel for the period' for the egyptian campaign. It should provide a game that is quite different to european battles. |
