Hi to all,
Reading through some of my old wargaming magazines recently and once again came across the the article in "Battle" relating to the "Battleground" TV shows.
At the time they were hosted by Edward Woodward and featured famous battles using the terrrain and figures of the late Peter Gilder with several wargaming identities of the time.
Would anyone have access to those shows on video or dvd at all? I have often put feelers out on other forums over the past decade with not much luck I am afraid.
However I am still desperate to see the shows featuring Waterloo and Gettysberg.
Heres hoping....

Carlo,
I don't know if this will help - if nothing else, there are some links that could take you to someone who can help you find a copy.

Unfortunately, the tapes were very expensive back then and some were simply recorded over for economic reasons, especially be some of the smaller regional TV companies such as Tyne Tees. _________________ You can lead a horse to water, but a toy soldier can no longer be lead (due to Health & Safety Regulations). |
