Hi all,
Here are my first metals - they look a bit better in real life, I'm afraid that my photography skills are worse than my painting skills. I had hoped to produce something as good as Paul or Craig but alas no.
The French hussars are by AB (still finishing next two squadrons) and so are the Landwehr. The line infantry are by OG. I'm trying to build up Thielemans III corps.
Regards
Ken

Very nice, one point though ,with the Hussards maybe don`t put standing/walking horses together with charging horses.

Looking good.
Now what you really need is a blog so we can see bigger pictures! ;)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind comments. I forgot to mention the fact that I had help with the elite trumpeter - my son who is only nine likes to paint also!

Hi Kenny,
If your son can paint like that at 9yrs of age get him working for a living!!!
Painting figures to sell on ebay!!!
I figure you have say 4 good years of earning before he needs to knuckle down with studying etc...
Joke!!! Joke!!!
Wish I could paint like that at his age, I would have a collection to be proud of (or a bank account to be proud of!)
My nephew at 15 is now starting to master the paint brush and my other nephew 12 is getting there too. They enjoy the painting and wargaming so that's the main thing. I didn't know about wargaming at their age just painted my Airfix tanks and figures.
Cheers
Paul P
