I am just about to start the Guard Horse Grenadiers regiment and, logically, I need "aurore".
Foundry's and Vallejo's oranges are too orange and I have not found any tone that really satisfies me. Does anybody know any comercially-available colour that will do it?. Yes, I know that I can blend orange and pink, but I will rather not to unless I have no other option

Thanks

I mixed "salmon pink and yellow" rather than orange and yellow as I read this somewhere years ago....

They were Humbrol matt white 30, matt red 60 and matt insignia yellow 154 I think !

For 15mm AB Figures i `ve used vallejo bright orange with a little medium fleshtone.
If you look at Lucien Rousselot(A reference that can be trusted) Garde Cavalry plates .It`s very orangish.
