Mondego Bay - Wellington starts his Peninsular War campaign.

Photos & Film

In case you wondered what it looked like. This is where Nosey started his campaign.

I'm hoping to put up a series of pictures of the main meeting-points of Wellington's campaign, with photos of modern Portugal and contemporary drawings not seen before. The first part begins with Wellesley's landing site and then will follow him later as he moves south until the battles and actions of Rolica, Obidos and Vimeiro.
