Gentlemen;
These are the Two Riflemen presented free with the new-format Wargames Illustrated... they are also my first attempt at 28mm...
Butch and Sundance; 1809 (?)
They are not based other than their integral stands; so they fell over a few times during the photographing which caused them to pick-up some flock, which although invisible to the naked-eye is highly visible to the camera! Therefore please forgive the apparently ‘lumpy’ trousers.
At the trot

A Walk In The Sun
They are indeed good fun to paint, I don’t normally undercoat my 1/72 fellows, but did give these chaps a coat of black first. I’m not about to abandon the smaller scale, but they are very nice sculpts. I must say that they are also much easier for the camera to see! Focusing on these
guys is much MUCH easier!

Top job GJ. 8)
Lots of detail on the faces with the stubble and you even have the eyes painted in.
Like the setting with the wooden doors in the background and them running out (guns blazing). Now I know why you called them Butch and Sundance, just outside the picture frame they are surrounded by a load of Mexican/Spanish troops.
Great figures and the box set is a must. |

Thanks Chaps!
The sun was so bleaching on Sunday that I needed a dark background to make them stand out, the inside of the barn was the obvious choice but when I saw the result it was strangely familiar!!!

Fantastic, love the detail, particularly the eyes; must get a bigger magnifier |
