I'm think 30mm wide by 15mm deep for two figures to a base.
Anyone base in 3's ?
What do you guys use ?

I base in twos. Threes are rather too long and make for rather inflexible skirmisher "chains".

Basing in two's is best. As far as the frontage, I have been of two minds. If the bases are too long the skirmish chain become unwieldy and can get in the way, too short and you cannot adequately screen units behind.
Can skirmishers be placed in two lines (obviously for fire purposes only the first could fire)? At present, if the skirmishers wheel I do so with them as one long line, but surely this could be broken into two lines temporarily to better maneouvre them. |
