I thought it entirely appropriate that it rained ALL DAY yesterday.
18th June should be a bank holiday in Britain (and Prussia!) I mentioned this to some Bankers at work today and they seemed in favour of it.
Anyone else joining the campaign?
Huzza for Old Nosey!

.............. We started the game at 10:00 this morning and fought until 5:00 PM. When the smoke cleared, the French had broken the British Center and many of Wellington's remaining battalions were unformed and in trouble. We deemed the battle a French victory. I played the French while Greg, who's collection of 28mm minis we used, played Wellington.

I will try to post some pictures tomorrow along with a few questions that popped up during the game. For the most part, the game went very well, but we had some issuse with morale tests that we might not have handled properly.

A highlite of the game was a double six rolled by the French Guard Artillery that caused Maitland to roll for officer casualty. He rolled a "3" and his horse bolted off into the French lines! The British Guards Brigade was force to fight on without their commander. Maitland watch the remainder of the battle in the company of the Emperor. Laughing

It was an honor to get to fight a part of Waterloo on June 18th. My thanks to the author for the rules and great scenario!
