These are my first 28mm but not my first napoleonics. I can do a battalion in three days. When I was done with my first four battalions I got a bit worried I didn't give the minis the love they deserve. What do you think? Do they hold up or should I slow down?

David, they look pretty good from here. The only thing I could pick out is that you could add the red piping to the the white turnbacks for the ligne battalions. I think that the 1815 uniform still had this.

Ah, thank you. This is what I'm talking about. I am pefectly happy with a "tabeltop/wargaming" standard but I don't want to miss a eyecatching details like this. |

David,
Your Léger Btn should have blue turnbacks piped white[not white]
Otherwise they`re looking fine.

Very nice figures indeed; I am envious that you can produce such a standard in such volume!
The Bardin regulations did away with the red piping on the turnbacks.
The last picture seems to show the rear of a light infantry battalion with white turnbacks (I could be mistaken); light infantry had blue turnbacks piped white. |

Very nice.quite Impressive en masse, I guess that you should provide a closer view to take a glance at the fine detail.
How much time per day do you dedicate to the painting?.
Thanks god, I don't have to fight against you!!, taking into account that my "recruitment" rate is 5 figures in 10 days |

I think they look fantastic!
If your going to use French in greatcoats, which is cheating you know
Then: I would mix them in with your other battalions rather than have all of them in one great-coated battalion.

| I have LOTS of French in greatcoats; no worrying about which uniform they are wearing that way! And yes, I do have two command groups for each battalion! |

Thanks for the note on the blue turnbacks, I don't know how I could miss that! Looks like I have a day of repainting ahead then.
MikeB; One third of my battalions are without greatcoats, one third with and one third mixed. I had a hard time deciding how to distribute the greatcoats and this seemed like a democratic solution?
Kellermann; I'll take a few closeups and post it within a few days. I paint 2-6h a day. I guess a battalion add's up to around 12h in all.
GL Z.D. Olsuviev; The blue is Citadel foundation Fernis gray with a rich layer of blue wash the a dullcoat. Glad you like it, french blue is tricky bussines.
Thanks for all the comments!

Very nice indeed.
I didn't know about the lack of red piping on Bardin regs... |
