Can anyone suggest a suitable figure in 28mm for use as a British or French casualty marker. I Have Front Rank, Perry and Foundry in my armies but none seem to have anything.
cheers

I almost misread this and started listing all the various *infantry* casualty figures out there. But, yes, *cavalry* casualty figures are harder to come by.
You might try these two packs from the Perry range for French cavalry casualties:
FN29 - "Light horse lancers of the line hit by canister / volley"
FN70 - "Cuirassiers hit by canister / volley"
Sascha Herm did a lovely job of painting the lancers a while ago:

And there's Foundry French pack FN324 "Casualties" that is a mixture of infantry and cavalry figures. |

Hi
I use some home made dialers with a casualty figure on the top.
Each one is generic (ie French Foot) and is numbered from 1 to 8.
No more scrubbin through a box to find a number 2 marker Lol.
These are easy to make and look loads better on the table.
All my Artillery batteries have the lead gon with a Dialer on the back edge.
Other guys in the club have now followed suit.
Anyne interested to see how they look, let me know and I will post some pics.
Cheers
