| Hi i'm not 100% but are they not made of pressed brass with coloured wood rims http://home.ica.net/~claus/barn1.htm this will lead to a site wich has good pictures of Brunswick drums hope this is some use |

The Brunswick drums will have a slightly different design I think - try this for Hesse Cassel:-

Or if you have your Mollo/McGregor handy, try Plate 63, Musketeer Regt von Mirbach.
I'm afraid I can't explain why one lot have blue/white diagonal stripes on the rim and the other red/white. _________________ You can lead a horse to water, but a toy soldier can no longer be lead (due to Health & Safety Regulations). |
