Played this rules for the first time on Friday and very impressed.
One question:
Defensive fire is '...once at moving targets...'.
Can Defensive fire be used against units that fire but do not move or is it really intended to be against moving units only? |

Andy,
Defensive Fire is restricted to moving targets only.
Any stationary targets will most probably have already been engaged or will be engaged in the respective command orders phase.
(Even if not activated units may still engage targets in the open and within close range.)

Do units get defensive fire at troops moving against them for a close asault?
i.e. before they reach base to base in the phasing players turn, but after the close assault is decalred? |
